Melike and Ecem Bocan are third-generation entrepreneurs from a family deeply rooted in textiles and the Co-Founders of Bocan Couture, a women-led luxury brand that blends timeless design with social purpose. Bocan creates sustainable loungewear and receptionwear through a fully female-operated supply chain in Bursa, Türkiye, a historic textile hub on the Silk Road.

Melike, with an academic background in Law and a master’s in International Trade Law, leads business development, legal affairs and strategic partnerships. She also serves as Türkiye’s Sherpa to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (G20 YEA) and is a board member of TÜGİAD (Young Businesspeople Association of Türkiye), advocating for inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship globally.

Ecem, an Industrial Engineer and CEO, oversees Bocan’s UK operations from London, driving international expansion, e-commerce and client experience. As a member of the British Fashion Council, she leads Bocan’s Low Carbon Emission Programme, positioning the brand at the forefront of conscious luxury.

Today, the brand is recognized internationally with a growing presence across Europe and the Gulf and is stocked by world-renowned retailers including Harrods and Galeries Lafayette. Through their initiative “By Women, Beyond Fashion,” Melike and Ecem are championing a new generation of purpose-driven luxury; one that uplifts women, honors craft and builds meaningful global connection.
