Renee van der Most is part of the third generation at Koninklijke Van der Most, a leading Dutch print and envelope manufacturer with over 400 employees. With a strong entrepreneurial drive and a deep-rooted sense of responsibility for the future, Renee brings together tradition and innovation.
At Koninklijke van der Most he is the driving force behind the company’s ambitious biogas project: a partnership with a local farmer to turn manure from 300 cows into renewable energy. The biogas will power a large share of the company’s envelope and print production, cutting CO₂ emissions and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This smart, circular solution not only benefits the environment but also strengthens the regional economy.
But the vision doesn’t stop there. Renee aims to expand the concept into a regional energy hub, helping other farmers and local businesses transition to clean energy. His approach combines family values, practical innovation, and long-term thinking.
Through this project, Renee shows that sustainability and entrepreneurship are not opposites, but powerful partners for building a better future.
